Ghana’s finest lady on TV in the person of Serwaa Amihere has lamented how national service personnel in Ghana is supposed to spend an amount of GH¢599 paid by Ghana’s Ministry of Finance.
But from the look of things, Serwaa Amihere seems to disagree with the Ministry of Finance over their decision to pay service personnel with that amount of money.
Thus, she has quizzed as to how they are supposed to manage the GH¢599 monthly salary in relation to the high cost of living in the country.
Taking to her Twitter, she wrote; National service personnel, how do you manage the GHC 559 allowance?
As a reminder, the National Service Scheme is a one-year long program and personnel are expected to earn about GH¢6,700 as an allowance during this period.
National Service personnel currently earns GH¢559 per month after it was increased from the previous year’s figure of GH¢350.
