Controversial Ghanaian Politician Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has stated emphatically in an interview on his Net2 TV that, embattled Akuapem Poloo deserved to be jailed for one year instead of the three months sentence she got.

According to Kennedy Agyapong, Akuapem Poloo’s actions was disgusting and to serve as a deterrent to others she should have been made to fail a full sentence.
Some Ghanaians however feel that Kennedy Agyapong has gotten away with so many “crimes” and as a result has no right to ask for the sentencing of Akuapem Poloo for committing a minor crime.
One of such is when he went on live TV to threaten the life of former President John Dramani Mahama adding that he was going to burn his house. This caused a lot of uproar in the country and people felt he needed to face the law for such utterances because an ordinary Ghanaian would have been dragged by the National Security Service for making the same comments.
