Thomas Partey is trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons after he flew from Cameroon after Ghana’s defeat to Comoros Island, making it into the Arsenal squad as a substitute in Arsenal vs Liverpool match and gets sent off in the 90th minute.

Thomas Partey, the man who was handed the captain’s armband after Dede Ayew was sent off in Ghana’s last AFCON game against debutants Comoros Island wasted no time after Ghana were eliminated and flew to London at midday from Cameroon.

He made it into the Arsenal squad that faced Liverpool in the League Cup coming on as a substitute in the 74th minutes only to be booked in the 87th minute of the game and finally sent off in the 90th minute.
