Headies songwriter of the year 2021, Simisola Kosoko popularly called Simi, is celebrating her 33rd birthday today, April 19th, 2020.
The mother of one, who started her career as a gospel singer, took to social media to share stunning photos of herself whilst expressing her gratitude to God and the people in her life.
She wrote,

I’m the most blessed. Most special. Most loved. God loves me so much, I cry about it sometimes.
I’m so grateful and happy for my life and my joy and my blessings. For my husband and my daughter and my mom and my siblings and my friends and my music and my fans (read support system) and for apple juice. Thank you, Jesus. You are my Rock and my Life.

Also whilst celebrating her big day, Simi’s husband, Adekunle Gold, called her his ‘biggest achievement.
The Sade crooner wrote;
“…The thought of growing old with you makes me the happiest man. My life is better because of you and I am grateful for every day, every milestone and moments with you…”
Simi asides being a songwriter is also a sound engineer. She is credited with mixing and mastering Adekunle Gold’s debut studio album Gold, which was released in July 2016.
Her music style is basically hinged in the rhythm and blues, soul and hip-hop music genres.
