The PassionAir flight OP 178 turned the primary ever all-female crew to fly from Accra to Tamale.
From the flight deck to the cabin, the all-female crew made historical past on Saturday, February 20.
The all-female first flight crew included Lead Cabin Crew, Judith Amoasi, Captain Eva Gichuru, First Officer, Shelia Njonjo and Cabin Crew, Judith Boachie.
In accordance with the Ghanaian airline, this initiative, which now serves as a ‘historic second’, seeks to encourage and empower all ladies the world over.
Pilot-in-command, Captain Eva Gichuru mentioned when given the mandate, ladies can reside past their potential.
“This flight signifies that no matter males can do, ladies can do and even higher when given equal alternatives,” she said.
PassionAir is a Ghanaian airline that began scheduled home operations in Ghana in August 2018.
The Ghanaian airline makes day by day flights from Accra to Kumasi and to Tamale with strict enforcement of the Covid-19 security protocols after the raise of restriction of air motion by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
