The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known popularly as Chairman Wontumi has said he was in a lucrative business but thanks to the NDC or went down the drain.

The maverick politician noted for attacking his political opponents with insults, said he used to manufacture cars before the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) came to power in 2013 only to rundown his business.
Speaking to Zionfelix, he noted: ‘The first car we were able to manufacture was ‘Kantanka Boafor’ and I also manufactured ‘Wontumi Cars.’ Yes, I produce cars, I will show you the pictures if you doubt it.
I manufactured them before the NDC came to destroy my business in the year 2013. I manufactured cars in Ghana,’ he said.
