Ghanaian Gospel musician and evangelist, Akwasi Nyarko have described Black Sherif’s latest hit song ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ as evil.

The song after it was released some days ago has been the number one song on most of the popular streaming platforms.

Topping Apple Music charts in Nigeria, being the number one streamed song on Shazam and birthing a challenge on video-sharing app, TikTok are some fo the achievements of the song.

While many have praised him for achieving feats no Ghanaian artist has ever achieved but as it is in every country, a lot of people have downplayed the song.

Amongst those who have downplayed the song is Ghanaian preacher, Evangelis Akwasi Nyarko who also doubles as a Gospel musician.

He is known for hit songs like ‘Bo Mpae’, ‘Mafa No Abo Me Bo’, ‘David ba’ and in a recent interview he was told that Black Sherif’s song is the latest hit song on the global market but he was quick to describe the song as evil.

Accoreing to him, it is not one of the angelic songs and that every song not written to please God is “abayifuo nnwom” meaning “songs of witches”.
