Messi, of PSG, won his seventh Ballon d’Or on Monday night, November 29, defeating Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski by 33 votes.
Ronaldo, a five-time winner, came in sixth place with 435 votes, with the Manchester United forward commenting 'facts' beneath a fan post explaining why the Portugal captain deserved the award over Messi.
