The Ghana Health Service in a disturbing revelation has confirmed that the Covid-19 virus has now spread to every part of the country.

The current revelation explains the dire state the nation finds itself in dealing with the virus which has recently claimed the lives of high-profile personalities in the country.

A few days ago, the Managing Director of fast-rising financial institution Best Point Savings and Loans, Philip Odei Asare reportedly died from COVID-19 complications.

The prominent banker reportedly died while receiving treatment at one of the designated hospitals for the treatment of COVID-19.

Information Minister-designate Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who disclosed this news noted that the Greater Accra, Ashanti, and Western Regions are the biggest hotspots.

He said the situation has changed since President Akufo-Addo said during his 22nd national address to the nation that 13 out of the 16 regions in the country had recorded positive cases.

Ghana Health Service says as many as 695 new cases were recorded on January 21, increasing the active cases from 3,286 to 3,525 and total case count of 61,498.

The President in a bid to curb the spread of the virus has ordered the Ghana Police Service to arrest any citizen found without a nose mask on.
