In a new update to the story shared by wwww.Ghbase.com about the young man who plunged into a lagoon in an apparent s.uicide attempt, his lifeless body has now been retrieved from the lagoon.

The man has been identified as Lekan Odunare and he committed the act at the Epe area of Lagos State on Tuesday morning.

Lekan was said to be a National Diploma (ND) holder and he left behind his girlfriend of 19-years and a baby less than a year old.

Until his death, he was a staff of Alaro City, a mega estate located along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

In a sad video that was shared on Instagram but got deleted minutes later owing to its sensitivity, the young man who reportedly instructed his baby mama to take care of their one-year-old baby, jumped into the lagoon and drowned.

In the now-deleted video, the young man climbed the barricade across the bridge and a voice of a man inquired from him what was happening while filming the sad encounter.

He didn’t respond but was murmuring some words to himself and the next minute, he jumped into the water body.
