Benjamin Tetteh receives red card for punching Gabon player after draw game

Benjamin Tetteh came on the field in the 90th minute in the AFCON game Ghana played against Gabon and received a red card afterwards.

He was penalized for punching a Gabonese player which resulted in an altercation between some of the opposing players.

According to the report, Kofi Kyereh was on the floor receiving treatment and the ball was kicked out. Them the Gabonese players took the ball and started playing.

The Ghana players called for ‘fair play’ which resulted in Benjamin Tetteh punching the Gabon Player after Dede Ayew had reacted.

Ghana could be penalized for the hooliganism that was recorded after the game.

Meanwhile the Black Stars has accumulated only a point out of 6 points in two games at the AFCON 2021.

The destiny of the Black Stars would be decided in the last group match game against the Comoros Islands.
